We have an initial chat via email, Skype, or Zoom for you to get to know me, and for me to learn more about your design project. This allows us to decide if we’re a good fit, and if so, how we will move forward.
Once we have decided to move forward, I will send you a contract, the first invoice, and a quick project questionnaire. The contract will be signed by both parties and will outline the deliverables and our working agreement. Once I have received the first payment and your answers to the project questionnaire, I will start working on your project and send the first concepts to you within 5 working days.
There will be up to five revisions available for each piece created (eg. logo, business card design) and we will work together to ensure. Further revisions beyond the initial 5 will be available at a further fee (agreed upon in contract). However, for all of my clients, I tend to find they need maximum 3-4 revisions. We will work together to create materials that a) reflect your mission and purpose b) you’re ridiculously happy with and c) you’re proud to show off.
Once the design is finalized, I will send you the final invoice. Once that has been processed, I will send your final files to you via email/Dropbox/Google Drive.
If you have purchased a branding package, once we have designed your logo, we will go onto repeat the concept and revision process for your remaining items.
You will have a final product that you are really happy with and reflects the great things you’re making happen with your organization, clients, and constituents.

What if I’m not sure what I want?
Not to worry! Many people who come to me don’t have a clear vision of exactly what they want. One of the first steps will be for you to fill out a project questionnaire. This is an opportunity for you to dig deeper into your brand messaging and share with me more about your business, your audience, how you want to present yourself and to give me any ideas you have.
What programs do you use?
I use a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, which are industry standard.
How long does the process take?
The biggest depending factor to this process is the timeliness and effectiveness of the feedback you provide. We will agree on a timeline at the start of this project. Along with your contract, I will also send Feedback Guidelines which will help you provide the best feedback for me to make sure I’m understanding your vision and make changes accordingly. Your honesty is the most important part of this process!
How does payment work?
Half of the total project cost is due before the work is started, and the other half is invoiced on project completion. You will receive your final files once both payments have been processed. This is industry standard.
How do I receive my files?
You can choose whether you would like to receive your files via email, Dropbox, We Transfer or Google Drive.
What files do I receive?
You will receive your files as maximum quality JPEGs, PNGs, and PDFs both in CMYK format (for print purposes) and RGB format (for web purposes). If you require any other file formats, please let me know.
